Medium chain triglyceride can be used as solvent and carrier of food flavor and color. In baked goods processing, medium-chain triglycerides are often combined with inexpensive vegetable oils to act as an anti-stick agent to prevent baked goods from sticking to pans or molds: Pure medium-chain glycerin or a mixture of vegetable oil is also commonly used as a lubricant and mold agent for sausage molds. Medium-chain glycerin can also be used to treat various fat-soluble vitamins, pigments and antioxidants.
