In the endemic areas of chloroquine-resistant falciparum malaria, the cure rate of chloroquine-resistant or multi-drug falciparum malaria is more than 95%. Combined with artemether, the antimalarial effects of Lumefantrine can complement each other. Lumefantrine kills insects thoroughly and has a long lasting effect, but it is slow to control symptoms. Artemether has a rapid effect, but the reignition rate is high. Animal experiments show that the toxicity of this product is very small, no clinical adverse reactions.
